No, you don't need a partner! Most of our students come alone. We rotate partners during class so everyone gets to practice with different people, which actually helps you learn faster.
Wear comfortable clothes you can move in. For footwear, leather-soled shoes or dance shoes work best, but any shoes with a smooth sole will do. Avoid rubber soles as they can stick to the floor.
